In Cricket, planning is very important, especially in tight situations. The captain should set his fielders strategically. Here are some good fielding sets:
There should be at least 1 slip (fielder who stays right-back of the batsman) during the first four over’s and there should one fielder behind him in case he misses.
There should be 2 fielder right to the batsman and 2 left to him.
There should be 1 fielder in Mid-on Straight.(If the batsman hits it straight up it would result in a catch)
If the bowler bowls a bouncer there should be one fielder in the 3rd man area.
The bowler should try to bowl yorkers which are bowled very close to the wicket.
